       那么，什么是雅丹地貌，雅丹地貌和丹霞地貌如何区分呢。为此，我上网查了下。
       先说一下什么是雅丹地貌，百度百科是这样解释的：


       雅丹地貌是一种典型的风蚀性地貌。“雅丹”在维吾尔语中的意思是“具有陡壁的小山包”。20世纪初，中外学者发现并命名了雅丹地貌，该事件后来入选了《[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/21536.html]中国[/url]国家地理》杂志社与[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/21536.html]中国[/url]地理学会共同发起了“[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/21536.html]中国[/url]地理百年大发现”评选。
       雅丹地貌现泛指干燥地区一种风蚀地貌，河湖相土状沉积物所形成的地面，经风化作用、间歇性流水冲刷和风蚀作用，形成与盛行风向平行、相间排列的风蚀土墩和风蚀凹地（沟槽）地貌组合。（百度百科）
       那么雅丹地貌和丹霞地貌有什么区别呢。

       简单地说，就是“风蚀雅丹、流水丹霞”。稍微详细点就是，雅丹是风蚀作用为主形成的垄岗状地貌；丹霞是地表流水作用加之垂直于地表的节理共同作用形成的[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/64027.html]赤壁[/url]丹崖地貌。
       我想，这也就解释了为什么这次榜单上的三处雅丹都位于[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/31808.html]西北[/url]的[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/13061.html]新疆[/url]（六个入围的也全部在[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/31808.html]西北[/url]），因为[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/31808.html]西北[/url]地区地广人稀，经常受到风沙的侵蚀，有利于雅丹地貌的形成；而丹霞大多在南方，特别是在2010年以“[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/21536.html]中国[/url]丹霞”名字成为世界遗产的六处丹霞全部在南方，这是因为南方河流众多，水量丰沛，更利于丹霞地貌的形成，其丹霞也更有代表性。当然[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/31808.html]西北[/url]的[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/11340.html]张掖[/url]丹霞非常漂亮，特别是在[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/31808.html]西北[/url]地区有这样的丹霞地貌弥足珍贵。
       很多人看到雅丹地貌的“丹”字，就觉得雅丹地貌是红色的，其实，“雅丹地貌”中的“丹”字是音译而来，与红色没有任何关系，雅丹地貌的颜色既可以是红色，也可以是红色以外的任意颜色。而“丹霞地貌”指的是以红色砂砾岩为主要成分、以[url=http://www.mafengwo.cn/travel-scenic-spot/mafengwo/64027.html]赤壁[/url]丹崖为典型特征并以地表水冲蚀作用为主形成的地貌景观。故有“流水丹霞”之说。
